In the Companion Diagnostics Business (CDx), our team partners very closely with leading pharmaceutical companies to develop, manufacture and commercialize highly regulated medical devices which are critical for physicians to help select therapies for their patients.

Major Responsibilities that is asked of at the Research Assistant level may include but not limited to:
  • Working in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by developing tailored companion diagnostic assays. This position will primarily be performing wetlab experiments.
  • Applying systems to carry out and develop immunohistochemistry assays, in situ hybridization assays, and molecular biology-based assays.
  • Assisting in defining and designing the optimal development path for each product within our workflow and adhering to our quality management system framework.
  • Working with internal and external collaborators to employ Agilent's automated staining and labeling solutions for cancer diagnostics.
  • Executing experiments as needed by the CDx team/project lead
