Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Neurology of the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 494432) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

This post requires an enthusiastic and motivated Research Assistant to explore molecular mechanisms and novel therapeutic strategies of Parkinson's disease. Areas of interest include mechanisms of neurodegeneration and neurotoxicity experimental models of Parkinson’s disease using cell cultures and mouse models.

Applicants should have an M.Phil. or a Ph.D. degree with biological research background in cell and molecular biology, histological techniques, and animal experimentation. Track record in research writing/publications is an advantage. Good communication skills in both English and Chinese is required. The appointee will join a friendly, dynamic and dedicated research team using state-of-the-art equipment with the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and international environment.
