The Center for Investing (under the Department of Finance) promotes the role of Hong Kong as a preeminent regional investment hub. It conducts a diverse array of scientific and policy researches on investment management focusing on Hong Kong and Mainland China.  The Center is now looking for two Research Assistants to assist in research projects in the Center.  They are expected to extend the existing research results to reach broader readership.

Applicants should be master's degree holders in statistics or operation research with a good understanding of finance. They should be able to work independently.  A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua) is also required.  Strong computer knowledge, solid technical background and good interpersonal and communication skills are preferred. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
