SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE
Clinical Division
The appointee will conduct clinical trials across different therapeutic areas and assist in the development of a new drug discovery for gastrointestinal diseases, orthopedics, metabolism, oncology and dementia based on efficacy-driven Chinese medicine approach. The appointee will also be responsible for supervising research assistants and writing grant proposals. In addition, he/she will take up some teaching duties.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Chinese Medicine and be a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Hong Kong, with three years of postdoctoral experience in clinical study, particularly randomized controlled clinical trial with Chinese herbal medicine. The appointee should have a very strong research track record in Chinese medicine.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two to three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
