The appointee is expected to conduct independent research in bioinformatics or related areas. The appointee will also be responsible for supervising research assistants and writing grant proposals. In addition, he/she is expected to take up some teaching duties.
Applicant should possess a PhD degree in Bioinformatics or related disciplines and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. The appointee with very strong research track record in the above-mentioned research areas is required. Training background in biostatistics, statistical genomics and bioinformatics will be an added advantage.
Initial appointment will be made on fixed-term contract of three year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
