Duties :  
1. Conduct research for the Centre, including literature review, data collection and data analysis;
2. Prepare various publications, including policy papers, marketing and publicity materials;
3. Assist the directors and associate directors of the Centre in handling administrative matters;
4. Organize/coordinate scholarly activities and events; and
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements :  A PhD degree in Political Science/Sociology/Law or a related discipline, with no more than 3 years of experience after the award of a PhD degree.  The appointee should possess research experience in contentious politics, law and society or a related field; high analytical and methodological skills; the ability to work independently within a team; and an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.  Track record in research project and journal publication a plus.
 
Candidates with a PhD degree plus at least 3 years' relevant experience after the award of a PhD degree may be considered for appointment as Research Associate.
