Responsibilities:

1. Research and develop multispectral image based field/crop condition monitoring tools, and deliver the tools to the practical field management.
2. Design and prototype multi-source data (Soil, weather, agronomics, management, imagery and ground sensors) based crop growth modeling, and use the ground-truth data to validate and improve the model.
3. Heterogenous data collection across the growing seasons, and establish the feature date set.
4. Explore and propose novel UAV-based solutions in agriculture production, field management and field monitoring.

Requirements:

1. Master or Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, Crop Sciences, Natural Resource and Environment Sciences, Computer Sciences, Statistics or related area.
2. Strong software developments skills on C/C++/python. Familiar with Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistical Modeling.
3. Previous R&D experience in multispectral image processing, Geographic information system, IOT for Ag or related area.
4. Previous experiences in multisource data (field condition, crop condition, weather information, historical field management data) collection.
5. Experience collaborating successfully with other engineers, and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
