Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in design and testing of new medical devices for molecular diagnosis;
• Generate design concepts, prototype builds, pre-clinical evaluations, and transfer of product to manufacturing;
• Develop, maintain and execute R&D project plans and coordinate cross functional team developmental activities in support of company's strategic plan;
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues throughout prototyping phase;
• Devise and implement systematic management, monitor project status and overall process toward project goals;
• Liaise with vendors and external research organizations to carry out the strategic partnerships.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• PhD degree in mechanics, electronics, optical, fluidics/microfluidics or related disciplines;
• 2-3 years relevant experience in the development of medical devices preferred;
• Experience with fluidic, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation and developing automation software orchestrating integrated experiments
• Strong technical experience in design, debug and problem solving;
• Ability to formulate scientific hypothesis and demonstrate technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought;
• Mature, responsible, independent, detail-minded and can work under pressure.

Remarks:This position is full-time and suitable for applicants who live in Shenzhen and can accept daily commuting to Hong Kong. The workplace is located in Hong Kong Science Park(Shatin, Hong Kong). Employees can travel by the subway of East Rail Line to Shenzhen Futian Railway Station.
