职位描述

The primary responsibilities are to lead a group of scientists to discover and validate novel drug targets. The successful candidate will advance several aspects of BeiGene’s pre-clinical programs, using their skill set to accomplish the following responsibilities.

• Design and execute in vivo experiments to evaluate drug leads (biologics and small molecules).
• Collaborate with the broader scientific teams to design and execute experiments aimed at defining the mechanism(s) of action.
• Work with in vitro team (chemistry, biologics and cell biology) to develop in vivo models to test the activity of therapeutic leads in combination with established therapeutic agents and perform in-depth characterization of mechanism in these models.
• Engage colleagues in cross-disciplinary scientific discussion, present scientific data to internal and external audiences and keep abreast of relevant scientific literature.
• Present and communicate internally and to collaborators.

任职条件

Expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics and immunology.

• Broad knowledge of cancer biology
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers across multiple areas
• Demonstrated scientific insight and problem solving, as evident in original research, contribution to drug discovery, or first authorship in publication or invention.
• Experience in managing scientists in a research organization
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communications skills – bilingual in English and Chinese
• PhD degree required
