Day to Day Responsibilities:

*Apply the fundamental knowledge of CFD techniques and strong analytical skills to the various applications with good understanding of flow physics and transport phenomena.

*Design and implement required mathematical modeling of fluid dynamic simulation and analysis. Leverages fundamental understanding to develop designs and concepts for flow processes and equipment prototyping.

*Demonstrate innovation in the delivery of advanced technology and through creative analysis and problem solving; propose solutions and execute effectively toward project direction goals and milestones.

Education & Experience

*MSc or PhD in Fluid Mechanics or closely related fields, strong theoretical background in turbulence flow, multiphase flow and heat and mass transfer.

*Have experience in the application of computational fluid dynamics and analytical skills to the development of new product/process/system.

Required Skills

*Strong fundamental knowledge of CFD techniques and strong analytical skills to the various applications with good understanding of flow physics, turbulence, heat and mass transfer.

*Demonstrated capabilities of using numerical modeling and analysis tools to solve real world industry problems.

*Experience with Linux and OpenFOAM.

*Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary international teams.

*Excellent communication skill in both of Chinese and English.

Desired Skills

*Knowledge in reactive flow and/or fluid/solid interaction is a plus

*Being able to adapt to fast changing research topic; Develop knowledge and capability in new areas quickly.

*Strong publication records, and C++ development experience.

*Working experience with a MNC is preferred. Soft Skills

*Passion and interests on research. Leverages resources and knowledge from fundamental research while maintaining connections to manufacturing requirements, commercial realities, and market needs.

*Demonstrates technical curiosity by asking questions and seeking deeper understanding of new technology or in areas of technical gaps.
