Responsibilities:

• Provide scientific expertise on designing and implementing experimental plans to evaluate, optimize, and validate formulations and methodologies for R&D of an innovative molecular diagnostic device;
• Develop, track and manage detailed development program timelines, resource and budget allocations, deliverables and milestone progress;
• Maintain and evaluate records of analysis and review laboratory results, plans and reports;
• Give research presentation and share other daily laboratory operational works;
• Supervise research teams in output, progress and aid in troubleshooting;
• Review and report project status to the management team;
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• PhD degree in molecular biology, microbiology, or other biotech-related disciplines;
• 2-3 years relevant working experience preferred;

• Ability to formulate scientific hypothesis and demonstrate technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought;
• Strong technical experience in design, debug and problem solving;
• Mature, responsible, independent, detail-minded and able to work under pressure;
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with colleagues at all levels and top management;

• Positive, self-starter and willing to take up challenges to meet projects deadline

• Good command in both verbal and written Chinese and English.

Remarks:This position is full-time and suitable for applicants who live in Shenzhen and can accept daily commuting to Hong Kong. The workplace is located in Hong Kong Science Park(Shatin, Hong Kong). Employees can travel by the subway of East Rail Line to Shenzhen Futian Railway Station.
