As part of Siemens Technology, we combine the real and the digital by developing smart algorithms to optimize and control technical systems and processes across the whole Siemens portfolio. What part will you play? Excellent applied research in the field of autonomous systems and advancement of academic results for use in commercially relevant applications Observing the international research landscape and analyzing technological trends Independent acquaintance with new methods and approaches in control engineering, robotics and AI for the control of complex technical systems and plants Implementation and subproject management of Siemens-internal research and predevelopment projects as well as national and international funded research projects Development of suitable demonstrators and pilot applications for proof of concept and transfer of theoretical results in cooperation with the business units of Siemens AG Customer-oriented consulting and support of the Siemens business units at expert level Close cooperation with research partners, customers and colleagues in the team and supervision of working students, student theses and doctoral students What you need to make real what matters. Successfully completed Masters degree in electrical engineering/control engineering, computer science, robotics, cognitive systems, mechatronics, mathematics, or physics.
