About Us

Our team develops compression techniques that lead the evolution of compute by offering efficient AI applications that broadly spans from the data center to the edge. We optimize deep learning topologies (neural networks) to the latest Intel hardware and work with architecture teams to design software and hardware accelerators for Intel future hardware. Our focus areas are Deep-Learning software and hardware technologies for state-of-the-art inference and training techniques. 

About You

We are looking for a talented AI research student to help our research efforts in the field of neural network compression (e.g. pruning, quantization, neural architecture search) for existing and next generation hardware products in areas such as natural language, speech, and vision.

The job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Working with leading architects on analysis of large-scale deep learning topologies and map the bottlenecks
• Implement innovative optimization methods to optimize neural networks for specific hardware product
• Publish papers in top tier deep learning conferences.
• Contribute to Intel’s open source deep learning projects

Qualifications

Qualifications

• BSc. or MSc. Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Python proficiency, experience in one of the ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow
• Track record of creativity and innovation
• Understanding of system architecture and hardware design.
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Good written and verbal communication skills for expressing technical ideas and initiatives.

Nice To Have

• Developing/maintaining AI research open source software projects.
