
Supervising General Job Performance of reservation department implementing of policies and procedures under the guideline, training, responsible and perform any other duties might be requested by Front Office Manager or Room Division Manager, Sales and Marketing Department. Ensures smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective, and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue to meet or exceed the revenue target.
What you will be doing:
· Knowledgeable of the entire Reservation Procedure according to the Hotel system.
· Develop and implements reservation SOP
· Being able to skillfully use and train team about reservation systems (Tars and Opera)
· Monitor and support team performance to achieve high work productivity.
· Coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
· Assist in coordinating of new rate offers including rate building, determining operational flows, communicating offers to the hotel
community, and deficiency testing.
· Manage all guest issues and ensure the response to all inquiries, and recommend ways to increase revenue.
· Coach agents in areas of up-selling, cross-selling and ongoing skill set knowledge.
· Preparing daily, weekly, monthly reports and other reports requested by management.
· Collaborate with S&M, HK and FO teams to manage room inventory correctly.
· Oversee all reservation related tasks.
· Report all reservation issues to Director of Sales.
· Working with Accor distribution team to make sure rate loading is correct for all segments.
· Identify Top Producing Accounts to ensure proper recognition by Reservation staff.
Work Experience
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Reservation supervisor or Assistant Manager.
• Bachelor degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management or equivalent degree.
• Additional certification(s) in Hotel and Hospitality will be an advantage.
• Proficient English language (Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading).
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, Outlook, etc.).
• Able to work in flexible schedule and long periods of time.
• A positive attitude, service-oriented, and ability to work well under pressure.
• Be active, attentive and creative.
