Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s Luxe brands, have an exciting opportunity for a Reservations Agent to join our team on a Part-Time basis (Minimum 3 days per week with flexibility for 5 days based on business demands).  

Reporting to the Director of Revenue & Distribution and Reservations Manager, our Reservations Agents are at the beginning of an exceptional guest journey as you make them feel welcome and provide a personalised experience during your interactions with them.  

No two days are the same in this position! One minute you may be making a booking for a newlywed couple and the next you are creating a rooming list for a well-known sporting team.

Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):

• Assist all guests and customers with room reservations and general inquiries whilst providing accurate and detailed information in a timely manner
• Provide the highest level of customer service in accordance to brand standards
• Ensure all calls and emails are handled professionally and efficiently
• Contribute to the conversion of Rooms or Food & Beverage inquiries into sales

About You

• The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational, customer service and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage prioritising demands
• The ability to foster strong interdepartmental relationships
• Working knowledge of Opera will be viewed favourably
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
