What you will be doing:
- As the Reservations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Reservations department, gathering and analyzing data to recommend solutions as well as, utilizing information to meet business needs and predict future market trends
- Responsible for hiring, coaching & training and development of Reservations Ambassadors.
- Ensure quality of Reservations sales calls are in accordance with Sofitel brand standards
- Ensure all reports are completed accurately and efficiently
- Responsible for ensuring that payment for commission to both transient and group is paid on time
- Enforces all hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensures quality service is delivered at all times and that all Sofitel standards are delivered and adhered to.
- Schedules staff according to budget guidelines and business needs
Your experience and skills include: - Excellent communication, and problem solving skills that allow you to lead and manage the Reservations team effectively
- An ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of poise and professionalism.
- Must have strong organizational skills, and be extremely detail oriented. Must be able to work in a strategic capacity to ensure that we are maximizing the revenue for the hotel. Must be energetic, enthusiastic and have a passion for the hospitality industry
