Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Reservation / Revenue Supervisor you are responsible to oversee the Reservation team, and guide the activities in the department to ensure the daily tasks are performed correctly.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer any reservation inquiry in the prescribed manner under approved company policy
  • Distribute and assign specific tasks in the department in order to bring together their contributions so as to deliver efficient results for the reservation operations
  • Assist in training of existing and new reservation agents; making sure the agents understand the daily tasks and the procedures
  • Follow up and communicate interdepartmental information as well as a handover of shift change to ensure smooth processing of Guest reservation and Guest satisfaction prepare handover of shift change (e.g visa status, arrival check, maintain Reservation log etc.)
  • Responsible to be aware of Group booking and their impact on selling strategies; identify barriers to booking as a result of change in inventory, or improper inventory controls, in order to have accurate inventories
  • Provide feedback to the Reservation Manager/Revenue Manager or other direct report on challenges in the department and ways to overcome these; provide assistance in scheduling and making sure the times are adhered to for an efficient operation
