Minimum academic/professional qualification required
Diploma or Higher Certificate from CIC/HKIC/IVE/TI/TC/Poly or eq. in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering discipline

Minimum experience which could be considered for adoption

4 yr. relevant post-qualification experience; or
2 yr. relevant experience as RABSI or eq. in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook (*)

Remarks:

(i) For above posts, the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE / HKCEE or eq. shall be met.

(ii) Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

(iii) “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a max. two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as eq. to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.

(iv) Contract tentatively starts from May 01, 2020. Contract period is 12 months tentatively and subject to extension.
