Halcrow China Limited has been appointed to provide site supervising staff for site-based works. The site works will be commenced in late June/Early July time this year. The construction period is about 12 months. We now invite application for the following Resident Site Staff positions: 

SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER (Ref ASI00015H)

Candidates should have:

(i) Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification site supervision experience on GI, general civil building works, excavation and lateral support, piling works, demolition, steelworks in private sector project. Experience on statutory submission for building works and stakeholder management will be preferred. 

RESIDENT ENGINEER (Ref ASI00015I)

Candidates should have:

(ii) Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.

Candidate shall indicate if they will also consider the position of RESIDENT ENGINEER – Night Shift in their application. 

RESIDENT ENGINEER – Night Shift(Ref ASI00015J)

Candidates should have:

(iii) Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.

Candidate for this position will be required to work over the night shift (Tentative working hours will be from 9pm to 9am). 

ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER (Ref ASI00015K)

Candidates should have:

(iv)Degree from University or equivalent in civil engineering with formal training pre-approved by appreciate professional institution/institute with 2 year’s relevant post qualification experience.

RESIDENT INSPECTOR OF WORKS (Ref ASI00015L)

Candidates should have:

(i)Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and

at least 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or

at least 5 years’ relevant experience as RAIOW with site supervision experience in GI, excavation and lateral support, demolition, general civil building works, piling works or equivalent in an appropriate discipline in private sector projects.

Candidate shall indicate if they will also consider the position of RESIDENT INSPECTOR OF WORKS – Night Shift in their application.

RESIDENT INSPECTOR OF WORKS – Night Shift (Ref ASI00015M )

Candidates should have:

(ii)Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and

at least 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or

at least 5 years’ relevant experience as RAIOW with site supervision experience as GI, excavation and lateral support, general civil building works, piling works or equivalent in an appropriate discipline in private sector projects.

RESIDENT ASSISTANT INSPECTOR OF WORKS (Ref ASI00015N)

Candidates should have:

(iii)Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and

At least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or

At least 5 years’ relevant site supervision experience as GI, excavation and lateral support, demolition, general civil building works, piling works or equivalent in an appropriate discipline in private sector projects.

Conditions: Appointments will be made in contract term with Halcrow China Limited for a period 12 months initially and may be extended subject to the performance and the project development. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position will be hired under Halcrow China Limited a subsidiary of Jacobs.
