Pay
HK$68,009 to HK$139,079 per month (HGPS point 30 – 44B) (including Monthly Allowance) (see Remarks 3)
Job
1. Provide clinical and related services in the specialty.
2. Assist in the supervising other Residents undergoing specialist training.
3. Assist in undertaking administrative work.
4. Undergo continuing medical education and professional development.
Requirement
1. A qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance; and
2. FHKAM (Paediatrics) and registered in the Specialist Register of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
Remarks
For Serving HA Staff :
1. Serving Resident and Medical & Health Officer, if selected for appointment, will remain on their existing pay scale, remuneration package and employment terms. Where applicable, the selected candidate will be offered contract appointment for 1 – 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.
2. Selected candidate will normally retain his / her existing pay point and annual incremental date on appointment. Selected candidate whose current pay point is below HGPS point 40 may be offered HGPS point 40 (i.e. HK$107,537, including Monthly Allowance) per month or above on appointment depending on his / her years of relevant experience and subject to approval of the Cluster Chief Executive.
3. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-Flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies.
For External Applicants :
4. External candidate, if selected for appointment, may be offered HGPS point 40 (i.e. HK$107,537, including Monthly Allowance) per month or above, on appointment depending on his/ her years of relevant experience and subject to approval of the Cluster Chief Executive.

6. May be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as to perform on-call duties.
7. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
8. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA
