Candidates should have:

• Certificate obtained from Construction Industry Council / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical institute / technical college or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; or
• Completed a recognised technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline; or
• Successfully completed a recognised craft apprenticeship with two years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline; or
• Five years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline; and
• Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 5 standard or above; and
• At least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience or at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in the position equivalent to Resident Works Supervisor II in public works projects.
