Job Description

The candidate shall:

  • Have attained a Certificate in Civil Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical college/technical institute, or equivalent; or
  • Possess five yearsexperience in civil engineering as a skilled worker; or
  • Have successfully completed a Craft Apprenticeship in civil engineering with two yearsexperience in civil engineering as a skilled worker; or
  • Have completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in civil engineering; and
  • Have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Form 3 standard.

 

[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.] 

Appointment of candidates will be made in accordance with the prevailing Government's terms and conditions for the employment of Resident Site Staff.
