Candidates should have:

• Certificate from the Construction Industry Council/ Hong Kong Institute of Construction/ Hong Kong Polytechnic/ Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a Technical Institute/College or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; or
• Successfully completed a recognized technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline; or
• Successfully completed a recognized craft apprenticeship with two years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline; or
• At least five years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline.
