Job Description

An opportunity for a Resource Coordinator has arisen to join the team within the Rail Infrastructure business at Siemens Mobility in Swanley.


The Resource Coordinator is responsible for the buying and coordinating of all business contractor requirements, covering professional, technical and contingent labour services for all project requirements.


What are my responsibilities?

  • Sourcing of candidates via the Preferred Suppliers List to support all agency business requirements.
  • Sourcing candidates to support all project requirements midweek/midweek/weekend & commissioning
  • Liaising with TIC and Construction teams to identify and forecast project resource demand
  • Confirm all staff selected with projects/suppliers
  • Collate all info/staffing and maintain commissioning spreadsheets with contractor details
  • Ensure that the SAP requisition to pay process is adhered to and that all contractors have valid orders in place
  • Ensure that the contractor rate card is used and applied
  • Maintain positive relations with customers, suppliers and between key areas
  • Carrying out internal audits on data held within the central resourcing team
  • Ensuring that IR35 process is followed for all contractors entering the business

Other activities:-

  • Assisting the receptionist and covering the reception desk as and when required
  • General Admin duties for the Swanley Office
  • Ordering local permanent staff PPE

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • At least 3 months previous experience of buying and sourcing agency staff for technical, professional and contingent labour roles within the railway environment.
  • Ability to network internally and externally and share best practice with the wider business
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate a good level of organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated relationship building with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Proven track record of delivery for sourcing agency contractor requirements for commissioning’s
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Strong computing skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Flexibility and an ability and willingness to learn.
