The Restaurant Manager for Black Sheep Restaurants is responsible for working with the Operations Managers, Director and owners, in all aspects of restaurant operations and the development of new restaurant concepts. He/she will oversee projects such as development and organisation of service manuals, menu costing and financial management, maintenance and repairs, sourcing materials, among other tasks. The position requires extensive industry experience and understanding of the hospitality industry and front of house restaurant operations. He/she should be a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset and impeccable organizational skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 9+ years’ Experience in the hospitality industry and a minimum of 5-years in a managerial role
- Clear growth in career – full understanding of the hospitality industry and roles in which the candidate will be managing
- Extensive Restaurant management & customer service/guest relations experience
- Experience working in other countries and with people of different cultures other than their home of origin
- Experience in Financial Management
- Working Experience with Large Restaurant Groups
- Experience opening restaurants
- Experience with recruiting, training and coaching team members
- Experience reporting to directors or owners
- Excellent English language skills (written & oral)
- A keen understanding and passion for the restaurant industry
- Experience of managing 20+ Team Members
- Ideally from or lived in Italy to have full knowledge of cuisine and culture
