Job Summary
Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
This position deals with all the
back end processes related to retail operations and is responsible for the
ordering o merchandise, receiving, payment and inventory control. Assist in the
replenishment of merchandise to include special orders, perishables, fashion,
and general merchandise in our Retail Shops. Take lead on all retail inventory
preparations and attend shop inventories on a regular basis. Display
merchandise in a neat, eye-appealing manner. Complete merchandise transfers as
needed. Process all outgoing guest shipments. Assist with general merchandising
and shop organization/ cleanliness. Maintain inventory control and storage
organization. Cover retail shops when required, greet customers when they enter
the shop, offer assistance in locating merchandise, and respond to questions
regarding merchandise. Restock items as necessary based on demand and to
maintain the visual appearance of merchandise displays. Check expiration dates
and discard expired items. Collect boxed merchandise from the container when
they arrive, unpack merchandise from boxes, tag all items using Dataworks, and
place in storage.
Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
