Objective of job
- Acting as professional intermediary, advisor and product specialist to deliver the highest possible level of service to dealers including Credit analysis and approval of retail credit applications;
- Be responsible for making thorough clarification and analysis of credit applications, and making reasonable decision recommendations in balance of controlling risks and providing good services;
- Detecting fraud case and sharing experiences;
- Handling critical communication and dispute resolutions; Monitoring and reviewing KPI on daily work quality;
- Maintaining and optimizing retail credit policy and process;
- Leading or co-leading key projects of retail credit department with high effectiveness;
- Involving in various credit-related discussions and providing high-quality analysis and advices;
- Supporting the team to achieve team KPIs;
- Support supervisor to assure the team behaves in line with the Daimler’s core value and compliance requirements.
Task description
1. Credit Evaluations and Decisions
- Processing of retail credit applications check through system work queues within timeline requirement and accuracy.
- Approval of incoming retail credit applications within defined retail credit standards ensuring the credit quality & approval ratios.
- Carry out credit application assessments according to defined processes & timeline requirements. Carry out credit application assessments, acquiring good quality deals; with observance to credit rules, policies & lending standards.
- Balancing LTV, approval ratio, TAT and quality mix during the credit decision process.
- Detecting fraud case and sharing experiences;
2. Services, Communications & Performance Management
- Work together with DSMs, to provide excellent services and professional communications to customers and dealers; including retail credit investigation talks, product introduction, reply to requests and decision making etc
- Support supervisor to monitor and review team KPI on daily basis
- Support manager to monitor team target; ie, CSI/DSI, penetration, TAT & quality mix via active communications with FCs and DSMs.
- Work together with manager, DSMs, RSMs, properly handling critical communication and dispute resolutions;
3. Policies and Process enhancement
- Maintain and optimize retail credit analysis tools, templates, document list, policies, process according to regional business and risk management needs
- Collaborate on various retail finance related topics with other departments i.e. products, campaigns, process, system functions, quality and KPIs, etc. Require data or reports.
4. Projects and System optimization
- Lead or co-lead key projects of retail credit department with high effectiveness
- Work with IT colleagues to improve, enhance and monitor CAP system functions and performance
5. Other
- Conduct other tasks as required by your supervisor to support achievement of the company and team’s business objectives
- Provide the extension service for special requirement from dealer and customer
