My client is a leading sport retail brand.

• Style Packet updates - Manage style packed updates: Answer questions regarding updates and issues that may arise. This includes colour development, strike-off approvals, print approvals and production issues. (Any additional issues that may arise).
• Product Development - Work with product development regarding new and existing styles, managing initiation of PDR, PDM and costing packets, supervise follow up on fit test revisions, sample requests, etc. Manage initiation and tracking of sample request for samples needed by accounts for display, quality testing and approvals.
• Colour, Silhouette and Print Development - Develop account specific seasonal colour palettes, silhouettes and print needs.
• Trend Development - Attend trade shows, trend services and shop market (both Domestic and International).
• Work closely with Marketing to establish line priorities and products which reflect Brand strategy.
• Sales - Create necessary sales tools (boards, product, samples, etc.) as needed for sales calls and achieving desired product margins
• Sales - Attend account meetings as needed to present seasonal product offerings
• Analyse retail market and develop product strategy to address line priorities and major market opportunities.

• Degree in Fashion Design / Merchandising or related fields.
• Eight years or above apparel design/merchandising with good knowledge of mass market channel, preferably within a multinational corporation or FMCG environment.
• Good color sense, strong color, print and silhouette design ability.
• Strong ability to recognize market trends in areas of color, silhouette and print design and the experience to balance trends against internal and external manufacturing capabilities.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Good in project planning and organization, ability to meet deadline.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good in language capability of both English & Chinese
• Ability to manage others effectively
