The Retail Executive will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Retail Pharmacy by ensuring that walk-in customers/patients’ requests are processed accordingly and daily sales records are met.
- Handling retail transactions like OTC sales and walk-in prescription orders.
- Assists in the filling of prescriptions/ orders and in OTC sales as required by customers.
- Provide assistance to pharmacist-on-duty where necessary
- Assist in cashiering duties in the absence of the cashier.
- Maintains and updates stock levels of OTC items, and maintain stocks in an orderly manner.
- Maintains and updates records on expiry dates of drugs and OTC items.
- Maintains and updates inventory in the computer system, regularly and accurately.
- Assists Pharmacists in conducting stock checks and replenishing stock.
- Stock-take planning
- Assist in monitoring & analysis of retail sales trend/figures
- Generate Sales Report for vendors (where necessary)
- Assist in planning of all promotional activities for the Retail Pharmacy and Co-ordination of Retail Atrium Promotion and management of promoters’ activities.
- Customer Relationship management - trend and feedback on customer’s demands & requests on special items.
- Performs any other duties as and when required by the Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager, for example, rostered to work in OPD and main pharmacy on Sundays.
- Provide supervisory oversight
- Handling of customer complaints & perform customer service recovery (when required)
- Contracts Handling / Liaising with Vendors
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Pharmacy Science
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience, preferably in hospital & Retail pharmacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, relevant IT applications, PIS, Oracle Financial, iHIS
- Meticulous and a team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
