Job Description

Reward Insights Specialist

Prepares reward data for analyses, validates information, completes survey questionnaires and preliminary analysis requests, administers reward processes and participates in projects. Works with support and direction of team members.

As a member of the broader reward community, uses our suite of core enabling HR technology to execute a range of activities, working closely with the global compensation team and reward partners. Continuously identifies and helps implement process and technology improvements.

Focus & Challenge

Team Accountabilities:

  • To work as part of the team to consistently deliver high quality data, data management and analytical insight
  • Understand the various needs of the business, as identified globally, regionally and locally, and how these needs can best be met

Analytical & Reporting Accountabilities:

  • Deliver data analysis, pay benchmarking, analysis of surveys
  • Support the annual reward cycle (e.g. annual salary review, position to market analysis) with the preparation of analysis, charts and presentations
  • Run & deliver monthly global compensation reports

Administrative / Support Accountabilities:

  • Provide specialist project based support when required, for instance deliver quality, detailed plans to underpin the continuous improvement of all standard planning activity
  • Document, manage and improve processes to enable effective ways of working.  Manage all access and security requirements for reward surveys and tools
  • Support in preparation and distribution of documents, presentation materials and official information
  • Plan, organise, and schedule own workload so that all activities are completed accurately and on time

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Data Handling / Analysis:

  • Able to think analytically and effectively, solve problems using creative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks efficiently and prioritise workload
  • Proven ability to work with confidential data
  • Expert user of excel
  • Experience of other data analysis systems would be beneficial

Reward Knowledge & Experience:

  • Has an interest in, and awareness of, market data and grading / job evaluation methodologies
  • Experience of using salary surveys – submitting data, extracting and analysing data is a plus

Other requirements:

  • Able to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Pro-active and consultative. Has a “can do attitude” – dedicated to providing great insight with a strong client focus
  • Well-developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a lively and hard-working team, performing together to meet deadlines
  • Has a growth mindset for personal development
