ATM is the leading organization that manufactures Intel's microprocessors. This position in SIMS, which is Rework Process Engineer, allows the candidate to be part of an organization that manufactures market-leading testers that are used in Intel's ATM factories. In this organization, Rework Process Engineer will be part of a team that creates assembly processes to assemble components onto the PCB before it undergoes inspection, testing and is assembled into a tester. The primary responsibilities for this position include:1) Being a technical leader who drives product and technology solutions for rework process utilizing various methods, tools and processes to salvage boards that has defects caused by materials, manufacturing processes or test failures.2) Identify new technology and define roadmap to meet requirement and milestones for Rework Methodology.3) Involve and have hands on experiences on rework method and creating recipes for profiling and Bake processes.4) Analyze component, risk assess, develop and lead qualification plan to certify for its manufacturability, quality and cost.5) Develop precision rework method for major rework or repair, hence salvaging boards from scrap.6) An active team player in Joint Engineering Teams, influence and define new methodology, processes, collateral and tools.7) Drive enabling rework indicators automation and rework traceability.8) Collaborate with stakeholders to drive upstream improvement to eliminate rework right from start.

Qualifications

1 Degree in any of engineering discipline
2 Preferred min 3 years of experiences with printed circuit board assembly processes
3 Strong analytical problem solving skills
4 Possess sound methodology for organizing work decision making and setting priorities
5 Skilled in DFM design for manufacturability FMEA failure modes effect analysis
6 Self motivated and team oriented
