Senior Visual Merchandiser
Responsibility:
Visual merchandising the product and content on web, the OVM will liaise closely with the online sales team as well as store merchandising, visual and creative teams for the following tasks:
- Visual merchandising and administrating the shop section of the website, responsible for ensuring commercial, relevant and visually strong product presentation
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to follow up weekly selling and make appropriate actions.
- Ensuring that products are merchandised according to categorisation and to a high visual standard, to engage and inspire the customer to shop
- Take action on sales – promoting key lines to maximize sales in each section
- Ensure that the our China e-commerce platform stays in line with aesthetics, visually balance the collection of products based on commerciality, branding and seasonal trends
- Improving the visual merchandising method as well as improving the tools for merchandising and customer analysis
- Work with both local and global merchandising, visual and marketing teams to suggest product content for all digital channels by adhering to the brief, creative brand guidelines and using an understanding of the collection to ensure all business goals are met
- Optimize the customer offer and contribute to seasonal site planning by analyzing sales trends and local customer behaviour and using this information to influence weekly content updates and communication
- Review results of activities with local E-commerce (sales and marketing) teams and respond to fluctuating needs of the business by effectively traning these visually across the site to ensure best outcome from a brand, sales and customer perspective
- Work proactively and bring new ideas to constantly improve the shopping experience
- Act as stakeholder in overseeing the brand essence and tone of voice for translated content

Support the translation of internal communication including weekly reports and updates, planning tools and store information packs from Head Office, HR and training materials
About you:
? Ideally college degree with 3-5 years successful professional experience in luxury / fashion, VM, marketing preferred, relevant retail experience is a plus
? Great sense of both aesthetics and science: data and number, with strong rigor
? Strong organizational skills: communication, negotiation, prioritization, multi-task and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization
? Communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing in both Mandarin and English.
? Understanding of our brand and visual aesthetic and tone of voice
? Commercial & sales oriented
? Strong understanding of trends, and fashion and an understanding of the visual impact on selling
? Flexible, proactive, self-motivated, open minded and willing to learn
? Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
