Eaton’s B-line division is currently seeking a Rigger-Cable Tray to join our 2nd Shift team. This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility. The compensation is $17.46 per hour. There is a $.60 shift differential. The regular schedule is Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm; and Friday: 12:30pm - 9:00pm, Position Overview: Assemble products in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties below. In this function you will: Determine the appropriate rung size for ladder assembly in accordance with the Bill of Materials Assist with set up of cable tray fixtures in accordance with the Bill of Materials Properly affix rungs in position to be tacked and welded. Clean welds and verify quality standards are met. Unload and safely stack all finished ladders in accordance with shipping requirements Performs 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Experience in a machine shop/sheet metal processing manufacturing environment Position Criteria: Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending Ability to stand for eight hours plus and perform repetitious tasks Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬ Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as needed by the business We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
