Job Description
The Rights Executive is responsible for meeting or exceeding the annual revenue targets and achieving long-term growth and development of overall T&F Group rights business in China.

What you'll be doing:
Your job responsibilities may include the following but not limited to:
- Expanding the rights business market and drive new sales model in China, achieve the target for T&F annual revenue growth.
- Customer account management and analysis: acquire a deep understanding on targeted customers in terms of their business, strategy and potential needs on publishing, budgets, competitive products, workflows. Able to translate this knowledge into the products and solutions which T&F could offer. New customer development.
- Rights promotion work and Product analysis: acquire a deep understanding on all the imprint/brand/product lines under T&F book products and conduct further product analysis. Maintain and build up close relationship with Editorial team, keep updated for news regarding books/market.
- Chinese Edition promotion work: Collection of key titles and Reaching out to publishers, editors and authors to coordinate details of materials requested; Arrangement of key products presentation at multiple events; Raising awareness of importance of Chinese market, etc.
- Organize and arrange (Internal & external) meetings, including local press meeting, book Faire, the Editorial meeting with global colleagues, etc. And the follow up work.
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by Rights Manager
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, in majors of English/Publishing/Management preferred
- At least 2 years working experience in related to Rights business in publishing industry
- Familiar with related workflows and processes in publishing industry
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in both verbal and written
- English fluency in both verbal and written, able to work in a global organization
- With initiatives to walk extra miles, willing to help team members in achieving a shared team target
- Experience of prioritizing and managing multi-tasks and Pressure handling skills
- Willing to learn and drive for continuous improvement
