The Opportunity:
Come join our Risk team on a 14-month fixed term basis.
We have an opportunity for an experienced risk professional to lead the development and embedding of the risk management framework at AIA NZ. You will provide reporting, governance, and advisory services to identify, monitor and manage the risks that impact on our business objectives.
About the role:
Lead the delivery of CRO reporting to key committees in alignment with our stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies across reporting and governance processes.
Drive and oversee the ongoing implementation of key risk framework strategic initiatives.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders to advance and develop the effectiveness of the Risk Management Framework.
About you:
For this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
At least 5+ years' in a Risk manager role with expertise working in the insurance or financial services sector.
Extensive risk management experience and an understanding of principles, processes, and methodologies.
Strong written communication skills and experience in risk reporting.
Relevant Tertiary qualification(preferred)
Proven Stakeholder and Senior stakeholder relationship and influencing skills.
Excellent innovation skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and provide advice on risk and governance techniques and best practices
