Job description

Competence areas

  • Coordinate, supervise and motivate the Sales force in order to achieve the objectives

  • Based on the corporate and group vision, implement business strategies to strengthen the Sales force primarily in Taiwan & Hong Kong and then on Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam markets

  • Coordinate via the team all Customer support, services and satisfaction activities

  • Direct report to Managing director


Activities

  • Follow market trends, customers and competitors behaviors, any foreseeable changes in South East Asia, to maintain Stäubli wished positioning in the national reference market.

  • Set up, elaborate and share objectives, sales strategies proposals, business and intervention plan to expand and strengthen our presence in the focused markets

  • In agreement with the management, implement medium-short term business plans to give practical value to the corporate strategies and ensure the achievement of the expected marketing and sales objectives.

  • Coordinate the Sales team activities to achieve the forecasted business results

  • Define the Area Sales Managers qualitatively and quantitatively objectives and monitor the results

  • Support the sales force in strengthening their sales network, attending directly the expanding of the customer portfolio and managing the most important sales negotiations.

  • Follow up on service support and critical customer surveys

  • Ensure execution of timely and efficient activities sales support (TSS and Back office)

  • Maintain and improve the employees’ motivation, promote their competences and enable accountability

  • Develop the use of sales and administration tools on division level

  • Ensure timely and reliable reports, budget revision, final balances, deviation analysis reports

  • Participate in trade exhibitions and strategic national / international events for his/her business

  • Participate in Stäubli group meetings for selling lines definition


Professional and Training Competences Required

  • Engineering technical background (minimum university diploma)

  • Solid Sales experience in robotics and /or automatization

  • Knowledge of global and national markets dynamics

  • Previous experience in managing a Sales team


Technical Skills

  • Be familiar with Operating Systems (AS400 / SAP) and Management Systems (CRM)

  • Fluent in Chinese and English

  • Technical characteristics knowledge of products


Transversal skills

  • Goal and result-oriented, has a methodological and strategic approach to develop business activities and manage resources

  • Strong communication and persuasive skills to efficiently handle collaborators and customers relationships as well as to convince management on the rationale for strategic choices.

  • Financial culture (KPIs) to pilot one’s budget and to dialogue with the finance team

  • Solid project and team management experience to lead and motivate people to achieve short and long term objectives

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability

  • Readiness and availability for international business trips
