Job Overview
Maintain, and improve automated robotic systems in an effort to maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, and improve automated robotic systems in an effort to maximize efficiency.
- Develop, modify and debug Fanuc Robotic code, AB PLC code, Factory Talk Transaction Manager and RS View, SE View (SCADA)code.
- Maintain and Troubleshoot Remote I/O, Device Net, Control Net, etc.
- Assist in automation system designs, testing, debug and commissioning.
- Evaluate automation PLC/SCADA code in an effort to optimize the processes.
- Perform compliance tests on robotic/automation equipment to maintain ISO and safety standards.
- Become proficient (maintain/control/diagnose) in the operation of all plant automation systems.
- Recommend robotic/automation system changes.
- Shift/Holiday/weekend or shift rotation work may be required.
- Associate’s degree in Automation/Robotics/Electronics or equivalent, relevant experience required
- Successful completion of the Automation Skills test required
- Strong PLC application, troubleshooting and development skills required
- Strong skills with Rockwell Automation Software Suites, PLC 5, SLC 500, ControlLogix PLC's, Devicenet, Ethernet, RSView and SEView required
- Strong process/application skills with Fanuc & ABB robots, as well as programming experience required
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills required
- Strong networking, PC & server OS skills required
- Ability to successfully execute assigned robotic/automation project task required
- Strong Communication/People skills required
- Troubleshooting / maintenance skills with hydraulic, pneumatic, and adhesive application systems required
- CAD experience preferred
- VB.NET, C++, C#, ASP.NET, VBA experience preferred
- ACP Thin Manager experience preferred
- SQL experience preferred
