ABB's Robotics and Discrete Automation business is writing the future of flexible factory and smart machines by providing value-added solutions in robotics, machine and factory automation. Our integrated automation solutions, application expertise across a wide scope of industries and our global presence deliver tangible customer value.

You will be responsible for a variety of external activities for the Key accounts, such as Brand (end user), EMS, ODM, OEM customers as well as value providers. The focus will be on consulting with key account customers/VPs and implementing measures to promote continual sales growth within the Local Business Area. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing new customers/VPs and increasing profitable sales in robotics applications and working under pressure to fulfill sales targets.
  • Acquiring key customers/VPs in relevant fields, and well maintaining them. Working together with Application Center to develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements and closing the deal.
  • Analyzing and communicating necessary operative marketing activities (fairs, end customer marketing, new applications road show etc.).
  • Being responsible to deliver the annual sales target in both quantity of robots and sales revenue.
  • Monitoring closely the competition in the market and collecting market status and trend, reporting to team leader timely.
  • Submitting weekly report and updating project pursuit list on a timely basis.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial automation/mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in industrial automation, robotics related field.
  • Must be familiar with 3C industry process preferred.
  • Must possess good presentation, selling and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with fluency in native English is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a collaboration sales team.
  • Must be proactive, aggressive, initiative, flexible and hard working.
