Certified Welding Inspector Join the growing team at our world-class train manufacturing facility in Sacramento, CA. Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, supplies and materials. Performs critical inspection procedures, requiring special set-ups of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources. May assist in first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment and tooling. Ability to enter, and retrieve basic information from material resource planning, noncompliance tracking tools and Configuration management System." supervision received Works on assignments with some supervision required with some instruction and goals established. complexity Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Makes accept or reject decisions based on evaluated results and comparison to documented standards Interfaces with Assembly Supervisory Staff, Purchasing Staff, suppliers and customer inspectors.
