Job Description

We be­lieve in cre­ating an envi­ron­ment where our placement student re­ally can learn by do­ing dur­ing their time with us and where they are giv­en their own ar­eas of responsibilities from the start. Body In White

You will work alongside our ambitious quality specialists who work non-stop in ensuring our body shop quality targets are met and issues found are steered back to our body manufacturing partners in Germany.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and tracking of quality issues
• Regular quality reporting (i.e. rework brochure, dimensional results ...)
• Develop and implement process improvements within our body production areas
• New model launch work and managing special body trials
• Interface with other teams, engineering areas and central BMW/R-RMC departments

Training towards a degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of quality methods and standards
• CAD experience (CATIA, PRISMA)
• Experience in working in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
• Have excellent verbal communication, presentation and report writing skills
• Basic German language skills useful but not essential
