Leather Shop Planning

About the team.

It takes incredible craftsmanship to deliver Rolls-Royce quality. Working in our Leathershop department, you’ll gain insight into the complete set of leatherwork skills from inspection, preparation and cutting to sewing, covering and assembly work. We’re looking for a placement student to join the team and support processes and project planning of the Rolls-Royce Interior Trim Leather Parts.

 

What will you be doing?

• Working in project teams on set deliverables. 
• Project Manage the introduction of new materials and processes. 
• Support the planning and implementing the facilities, tooling and 
instructions for new models. 
• Support synchronising new models into existing manufacturing 
structures.
Industrial Engineering & Process Improvement Practices. 
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles and knowledge of 
the company’s own VPS / CIP principles. 
• Manufacturing feasibility and realisation of design and engineering 
requirements within the concept development process

Studying engineering, automotive engineering, business administration & engineering.
- Second half of studies. 
- Ideally BMW experience (during internship or bachelor thesis). 
- Experienced MS Office knowledge. 
- Excellent teamspirit and communication skills. 
- A proactive attitude. 
- Able to work with minimal supervision if required
