Assembly

The Assembly department at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited, is responsible for all processes, facilities and operations to ensure the complete assembly of the highest quality vehicle. These operations include control and compliance of quality, production and planning methods both in series production and all new product development.

Within assembly operations we are driven by the desire to build the ‘Best car in the World’ through the development of repeatable product, robust processes and the engagement of the best people.


What will you be doing?
  • Planning and implementation of processes to support clear procedures that are understood and followed
  • Develop opportunities to undertake roles within our Quality, Planning and Manufacturing teams
  • Evaluation of data to identify facts which support improvements; resulting in efficiency, cost or quality improvements
  • Support the business whilst ensuring the relevant key performance indicators (KPI’s) are met
 


• Successfully completed university degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Automotive Engineering studies to a 2:1 standard or higher
• Excellent language skills in English - language skills in German are an advantage but not necessity
• Experienced in use of Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and capable to work under pressure
• Strong commitment and ability to work in teams and independently
• Good time and project management skills
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, within a team and all levels of the business
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems and/or Quality Systems
