Room Attendant, Housekeeping
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire (managed by Accor), you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

What you will be doing:

• Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard; including making beds, dusting removing soiled linen from rooms, retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenishing supplies within room, etc.
• Ensuring proper usage of all cleaning products & wearing all required personal protective equipment
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest
• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
• Responsible for restocking housekeeping carts & closet/service areas daily
• Track and update room assignments throughout the day
• Report any maintenance concerns promptly
• Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols

Your experience and skills include:

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written & verbal

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
• Physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects.
