Main responsibilities

• Report directly to IRD Supervisor / Manager

• The IRD Team Leader is required to conduct their duties and responsibilities in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained.

• Oversee that IRD, Xbar and servicing equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations.

• Maintain strong communication within the department and with other departments.

• Help coordinate and supervise special events organizations by creating action plans, planning and implementation efficient man power, equipment and set up.

• Dealing with guest complaints,

• Stocktaking and stock control

• Opening and closing the venues

• Overlooking daily operations,

• Leading a team of IRD attendants,

• Coordinate all events as required. Supervise during the absence of the Head of Department.

• Accomplish a set of administrative duties, during the absence of the Head of Department, such as leading and attending meetings, writing reports, maintaining a log book of activities, preparing work schedule in order to maximize efficiency of man power, assisting in revising and/or updating HID’s and other specific duties related to the role.

• Motivate the team to bring about excellent performance, enforce discipline when required and participate in the evaluation of their performance.

• Assist with the monthly stock count

• Provide proper training for new talent following the New Talent Handbook.

• You will be working different shifts (morning, evening, night and weekend shifts). Also during public holidays.

• Being flexible to assist other B&F departments (Banqueting and W Lounge)
