JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem and advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply  of electricity/power - normal power system (Meralco Power Supply, Main and Sub-Electrical Panelboards, Switch Gears, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switching System) Transformers, UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply System), AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation System), Power and Lighting System and emergency power System (Generators), all motors (air compressors, etc.), telephone/communication system and facilities (that is, telephone system/units, PABX System, Paging System, Intercom System) and the Fire Protection System (Fire Alarm System, Smoke Detectors) as well as, Lightning Protection System which is vital to the business operations of the unit/company

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Must be vocational course graduate, degree holder would be an advantage
• 2-3 of experience in the same field gained in any building or industrial environment that is, In handling electrical machines, equipment and facilities, such as, electrical distribution system, generators, fire alarm system, PABX system and other building/plant requirement.
• Can do hands-on job, troubleshooting, installation of electrical items, and can interpret and analyze electrical technical data.
