The Role

Here at Mars we are on the hunt for an amazing leader to develop, coach and inspire our Field Sales team. This role is responsible for driving the overall route to shopper strategy for the Mars New Zealand Business.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategies to grow across all accounts, defining growth levers, must win battles and key market and retailer priorities
• Member of the Mars New Zealand Sales Leadership Team
• Leading the Field Leadership Team and wider Grocery Sales team, focusing on development, engagement, and execution
• Design and implementation of sales growth & capability strategies
• Support Field Sales Leaders to execute, analyse and refine the route to shopper model
• Champion the Perfect Store program to deliver best in class market execution
• Manage the budget and spend across the National Field team
• Prioritisation of field team resource with a return on investment mindset

 

The ideal candidate

• Line Management experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion and success for building effective teams
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve mutual outcomes and channel growth
• Experience developing and delivering a strategic business plan
• Strong sales background with proven delivery of results
