Job Purpose/Overview
Being a partner (Unit master user) for the business for all questions related to 1NAV system
(the business upgraded ERP/Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
Being the Unit’s governance & control lead by supporting Financial Controller in developing and implementing internal governance policies.
Being an operation support or back-up for Sr. Accountant/Financial Operations Specialist/E2E Supply Co-pilot when it is required (i.e. closing, etc.)

Key Responsibilities
1NAV Administration （Microsoft Dynamics NAV）

1. Administration of Navision and providing support with different types of issues
2. Lead any systems change management process
3. Take responsibility of Navision Security review and control (i.e. User profile, SOD, etc.)
4. Providing Navision training to the end users when it is needed

Governance/internal control

1.  Work with Financial Controller to draft internal control policies, procedures, and instructions.
2.  Assist Financial Controller in the internal control implementation & regular review and improvement of existing controls.

Accounting / processes

1.  Being a support or a back-up for Sr. Accountant/Financial Operations Specialist/E2E Supply Co-pilot during period closings when it is required
2.  Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of period-end closing activities when it isrequired
3.  Prepare and submit periodic Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations in Blackline whenit is required

Context and Scope
The role is mainly to manage 1 Navision system as Master User and act as the unit’s governance control lead, with change management mindset backed up by strong functional
skills and leadership. The role is also expected to provide operational support to Sr. Accountant/Financial Operations Specialist/E2E Supply Co-pilot during period closings.
Supervision and review from line manager is limited, and independent work with proper time management under pressure is expected.
50%: 1 Navision system administration/30%: Financial operations support/20%: Governance & Control

Job Specifications/Qualifications
1. Education & Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (Accounting/Commerce degree preferred)
Good command of English (Written/Verbal)
2. Knowledge/Experience
 Working knowledge & proficiency with ERP is a must (Experience with Navision is a plus)
 Working knowledge of accounting closing process
 Basic understanding of Financial Statements (PL, BS, Net Operating Cash Flow)
 Minimum 5 years accounting/financial operations experience, ideally with a multi-national company
3. Physical/Mental Requirements
Able to locate & work in Tokyo Metro areas
