The Software Engineer’s responsibility is to act as a member of a Mentor/Siemens development team working on the “HyperLynx SI/PI” product and develop and maintain software in the High-Speed Analysis (Signal- and Power-Integrity) area. What you’ll bring MS in Software Engineering or Computer Science or related field Practical experience in software development is required English language skills (intermediate) are required Background/experience in EDA is preferable Experience in CAD/CAM or PCB development is preferable Experience of participation in team projects is preferable Deep understanding of S/W-development basics, including algorithms and data structures, OOD/OOP and design patterns Practical knowledge of C/C++ language, Microsoft Visual Studio, MFC, STL is essential Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, VB, Tcl/Tk) is required Knowledge of source-control and bug-tracking tools is a plus Linux experience is a plus Strong communication skills are required Technical writing skills (requirements and specifications) are a plus Join our Digital World We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
