BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN THE OMAHA NE AREA!!
 
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.  is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager for our manufacturing facility in the Omaha, Nebraska area.
 
This Sales Account Manager position is responsible for selling liquid carbon dioxide, related applications and equipment to food, beverage and industrial/manufacturing related customers and markets. Supporting CO2 liquefaction plants are located in Adams, Nebraska; and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
 
You will be residence-based and must live in the Omaha, Nebraska area.
 
We are looking for a professional with a positive attitude and focus on innovation to lead all facets of the sales process from prospecting, preparing, and presenting proposals to contract and pricing negotiations needed to secure new business.  Responsibilities also include ensuring customer retention through an enhanced relationship focusing on proactive account management resulting in flawless operation and execution.  You will demonstrate a passion to be the best in the industry.
 
Responsibilities include:
 

  1. Existing Customer Account Management-Managing Customer Relationships, Customer Value Creation, Wallet Share Growth, Profit Management.
  2. New Business Development- Selling N. America liquid carbon dioxide portfolio of Product, Equipment and Services to amenable Market, including New to Market and Competitive Account Prospects. Strong emphasis on basic prospecting (high rate of daily call activity), and expeditious Direct Marketing follow up.
  3. Some overnight travel will be expected.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • 4-year college degree in business or engineering, or equivalent experience with strong technical aptitude.
  • 3-4 years of successfully demonstrated sales experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • CO2 and/or Food industry experience a plus
  • Work well in a dynamic team environment, with a high energy level.
