• Perform full lifecycle (SDLC) development including, analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation into a production environment.
• Translates functional requirements into SAP technical requirements and solutions.
• Develops technical specifications and works with functional resources to complete object development and testing.
• Performs code reviews and ensures quality of development work outsourced to vendors.
• Tests, confirms, and documents SAP ABAP & BW programs design and development.
• Provide production support by debugging and applying fixes.
• Maintain and develop SAP ABAP & BW programs and workflows in a complex, highly customized environment.
• Perform systems analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, as well as application of OSS notes and support of interfaces between SAP and other non-SAP applications.
• Formulate and define best practice programming standards that meet regulatory compliance requirements for Implementation, Support and Upgrade Projects.
• Defines standards and reusable approaches with benefit to cross-functional groups.
• Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.
• Provide ABAP & BW technical support for patch and release upgrades.
• Understands and applies the development methodologies and procedures.
• Project lead responsibilities for our internal and external projects ensuring compliance to quality and schedule.
• Ability to independently contribute ideas and recommendations to the continuous improvement process of the ERP team.
• Document and maintain a solution portfolio and identify opportunities for solution re-use.
• Identifies opportunities to re-engineer existing solutions to better utilize technology, optimize performance, and simplify support.
• Manage and coordinate outsourced resources.

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar Degree or equivalent.
• 10 years SAP ABAP & BW design and development experience, at least 2 full life-cycle SAP implementations.
• Expert knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDocs, EDI, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces).
• Practical experience with programming Function Modules, Scripts, SmartForms, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, Enhancements, Reports and Dialog Programming required.
• Exposing and consuming SOAP and REST based web services in SAP preferred.
• Architect, design, develop and maintain BW data objects including DataSources, InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, ODS, Cubes, Info Providers, multi providers and BEx Query / Workbook.
• Administration of BW related objects such as Business Content, Process Chains, PSAs etc.
• Project Management Experience.
• CMMI, Software Development Life Cycle, Estimation tools are a PLUS.
• Knowledge of SAP Netweaver Portal is a PLUS.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and prescribe preventive and corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical, technical and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
